The snow thrower's advanced two-stage technology efficiently moves the snow to the centre of the blade. Two horizontal Xtreme-Auger clearing augers are used, and there another clearing auger takes over the task of transporting the snow vertically upwards through the discharge chute. With a generous clearing width of 66 cm and a maximum infeed height of 53 cm, the cutter effortlessly handles thicker layers of snow without excessive effort.
The special 5.8 kW MTD winter engine ensures a safe start even in icy temperatures. This engine can be started via the practical 230V E-starter as well as via the reliable cable pull. The working height can be conveniently adjusted via skids to ensure the optimum distance to the ground.
With 6 forward and 2 reverse gears, the Snow thrower offers versatile operation. It is easy to use, even with tight mittens, which makes it particularly comfortable to operate. The discharge chute is controllable via a joystick and can be rotated an impressive 200 degrees.
Thanks to the generous 3.0-litre tank, the OPTIMA ME 66 T proves to be extremely durable even during longer jobs. The built-in working light also enables efficient work even at dusk. The caterpillar drive gives the machine a high degree of off-road mobility, so that it can also move easily on slopes.
