eXtreme Long Life Safety perimeter wire with bite through protection - 3.8mm - 100m

This bite-resistant perimeter wire is the industry's safest installation cable (perimeter wire) for robotic mowers. It is specially designed to limit the working area of robotic lawnmowers while providing high resistance to rodents in the ground such as voles or mechanical stress. Our perimeter wire is extra strong and resistant to rodents, weather and UV rays, so it can remain in use for years. It is particularly well suited for use in demanding environments such as large gardens, gardens abutting agricultural zones, public parks, outdoor swimming pools, football pitches, schools, break grounds or commercial areas.

The eXtreme Long Life Safety Perimeter Wire consists of 4 layers and has an outer diameter of 3.8mm.

1. conductor for signal - tinned copper strand (1.0mm)
2. insulation (2.2mm)
3. mesh - protective sheath - bite-through protection - tinned stranded copper mesh (2.9mm)
4. Strong insulation (PE, green) - bite-through protection and protection against corrosion (3.8mm)

Our eXtreme Long Life Safety Perimeter Wire is easy to install and can either be buried or pushed into the ground. The wire is fixed with pegs, which you can also find in our shop, these are available in 3 different versions. The perimeter wire is also compatible with all popular robotic lawnmower models on the market which are equipped with perimeter wire technology such as WORX Landroid ®, Husqvarna Automower ®, Robomow ®, Honda Miimo ®, Bosch Indego ® and many more.
The eXtreme Long Life safety wire is available on drums of 50m, 100m, 250m, 500m and 800m.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Our perimeter wire (conductor and mesh) is made from a stranded copper wire. On the market you can often find perimeter wires made of aluminium strand. These offer less resistance to biting through.
